My Marketing Strategy

The media is full of the social networks and use of social and other online tools such as Twitter, Linked In, Facebook, – not to mention all the webinars and blogs! Yet there seems to be mixed reviews.
The Pew Internet & American Life Project recently published that almost 50% of Americans in all age groups are indifferent to Internet social networks, overwhelmed by gadgets or often avoiding Internet use altogether.
All the consultants are touting the death of the old advertising agency model that comes at the expense of many standard media outlets (newspapers, TV networks and radio stations) falling on hard times due to the Internet and the economy. In its place is a form of strategists that can mold everything together, finding ways to brand across all media and the social networks. Some say even online advertising has started to fall back while others say that Twitter will soon be replaced with something else since none of these online social models seem to make money.
Frankly, it is daunting to try and keep up with all the changes, let alone all the tweets, posts, and webinars that are added to the slew of emails, meetings, and phone calls.
What are your thoughts on social media?
We have compiled a few tips on managing social media and the strategies to employ these tools available after, you guessed it, our webinar!
